Helping Hands helped me realize how important it is to spend time with the Lord every day and to have fellowship with Him. Every time I went out to “Warm Homes,” God always protected me from harm, and I could see how the Lord works in people’s lives. Helping Hands has changed my perspective on good deeds and on people—on just how much you can help with a single kind word. One of the most powerful moments for me was when I spoke with an elderly man at a nursing home who had lost all hope. That’s when I realized how important it is to have someone there to remind you that you’re not alone. Helping Hands means family to me. It’s the place where you discover God and learn to love and help people.

Helping Hands has shown me that God works through people, and the joy of serving others has completely changed my priorities and filled my soul with peace. The team spirit and unity I’ve felt here are extraordinary. For me, Helping Hands means “love in action”—a place where faith takes shape through deeds.

Helping Hands came into my life at a very difficult time, when my father was fighting for his life. God used this ministry to answer my prayers. Getting involved in projects not only helped others, but it also helped me and my family get through that difficult time. I have seen how God changes lives, brings hope, unites people, and works beyond our expectations. For me, Helping Hands is my second family and God’s hand reaching out across the earth.
