Volunteering – Together we can make a difference

volunteers

Helping Hands ministry is possible because of the people who choose to get involved. Volunteering means giving your time, your energy, and your heart to help others. We believe that every person can make a difference and that anyone can be part of this ministry.

Why volunteering?

Behind every project, every visit, and every package given, there are people who chose to get involved. Volunteering does not mean you have to do big or complicated things, but it means being available, having an open heart, and the desire to help.

Sometimes, the smallest things can have the biggest impact: a few hours spent preparing packages, a visit to an elderly person, participating in a humanitarian action, or helping organize an event.

How can you get involved as a volunteer?

There are many ways you can get involved in this ministry:

  • Helping with preparing and distributing packages
  • Participating in humanitarian visits
  • Getting involved in social aid projects
  • Participating in mission trips
  • Helping with event organization
  • Getting involved in educational projects
  • Helping with media, photo, video, or organization
  • Getting involved in logistics and transport

Each person has different gifts and abilities, and in this ministry there is a place for everyone.

Volunteering changes lives – including your life

When you help others, not only their life changes, but your life changes as well. Volunteering teaches you to see the needs around you, it teaches you gratitude, compassion, and love for people. It gives you the opportunity to be part of something bigger than yourself and to contribute to changing the world around you for the better.
